General travel conditions


1. Booking and booking confirmation
Your booking represents a travel contract between you and Scotland for all. We inform you in writing (by email) of the travel confirmation, which also contains the invoice.  With the confirmation by Scotland-for-all a travel contract is in effect which is binding if there is no objection within 7 days of the confirmation.

2. Terms of payment
After receipt of the travel confirmation a pre-payment of 10% of the total price (less the deposit of £ 100) is due within 14 days. Payment of the balance must be done without invoicing no later than  4 weeks before the travel date.

In the event of a short - term booking, the total travel price is to be transferred immediately after receipt of the travel confirmation.

After payment of the balance you will receive the final information regarding the itinerary. Without complete payment of the travel price there is no travel claim.

3. Cancellation by the traveller
If you have to cancel your journey, this must be done in writing.

The cancellation costs are:
Until 60 days before travel start: Non-Refundable pre-payment of 10%
From 59. to 30. days before travel start: 20% of the travel price
From 29. to 15. days before travel start: 40% of the travel price
From 14. to 07. days before travel start: 60% of the travel price
From 06. to 01. days before travel start: 80% of the travel price
The day of the trip: 100% of the travel price

4. Insurance
No personal insurance is included in the travel price. We recommend, for example, a travel cancellation insurance as well as one covering  accidents, luggage, travel health insurance travel liability insurance.

5. ID and health regulations
European Union - citizens need a valid passport or identity card for the entry into the United Kingdom.
Medical care by the National Health Service is available in the United Kingdom free-of-charge in the most part.
